GAME #1
Passions ran high and expectations were great.
Small bands of men and women set out from various groups around the city to descend upon the park named after the grove beneath the tower.
It was the beginning of a new year of YAFSTL softball and the Multigrain team prepared for greatness........
Multigrain vs KAI:
Multigrain's defense was like a well masoned brick wall, exposing no cracks or fatigue from settling. At the helm of our intensely offensive defense is Matt "the towering" Havalander, who threw dangerously arced lazers that dive bombed the strike zone. Anyone lucky enough to catch a piece of Gold Dot was quick to find out how Ashley "no balls get past me" Ball got her name.
Offensively we bombarded the friendly skies with a range of lead off skyrockets (mat) and towering Havalander Homers! Seth "ain't no mountain high enough" Mountain contributed to rbi's and with an all around solid contribution from the entire team Multigrain delivered KAI with their first KIA of the season.

MultiGrain is a Softball team in the STL Architecture & Engineers Softball League and sponsered by YAFSTL. Our team members are comprised of many firms with in the St. Louis area, including but not limited to: Thalden Boyd Emery Architects, Laura Neri Baebler Arch & Assoc, Oculus, Bond & Wolfe, Albers Studio, ADG, Matchbox Design Group, Kirchner Block, and OWH.
