Game 2

GAME #2

Multigrain was coming off of a week break due to a rain out when they took the field against, what some considered, the mightiest foe. Of course I'm speaking of the infamous Gray Design Group.

In other match up's they were averaging between 20, 30, sometimes 80 runs a game... but that didn't phase the Multigrain Team. We stood tall and battled among giants (i.e. the suspected former minor leaguer's on their team who happened to be very tall and could hit the ball into the next fields infield). If they took a run, we took a double. When they stole a base, we capitalized on an error. It was glorious!

Once the dust of the assumed massacre settled the score stood at 11 - 3. Multigrain may have come away from this match defeated, but our spirits were still high for having held a goliath at the gates and allowing him fewer inches than most.

The words of Dennis Quaid (lesser talented actor/brother of Randy Quaid) come to mind;

"We will not go quietly into the night! We will not vanish without a fight! Today is our Independence Day!"
